Recommended points
It's a small LED light that costs just over 500 yen, but you'll be surprised at how bright it is.
While it's not as powerful as a headlamp and can illuminate distances, it provides ample light for walking or light jogging. This light can be used in a variety of ways, including clipping it to a pocket or piece of clothing, or attaching it to a GPS watch band. This improves your visibility at night, making it easier for cars, cyclists, and pedestrians to see you. Improved vision will directly translate to safety in your future runs and walks.
Its lightweight and compact design makes it easy to carry around. Its waterproof function also means you can use it safely even in the rain. Its long battery life allows for extended use, making it a great item for everyday use as well as outdoor activities.

The Story of Bookman
Providing free bicycle lights to all students—that was the beginning of BOOKMAN. Bookman's successors, David Axelsson and Victor Kabo, first met while studying industrial engineering and business administration, respectively, at Linköping University in Sweden. Their shared passion for entrepreneurship led them to join forces with a few like-minded individuals who spent hours discussing business concepts. They noticed that everyone on campus and around town was cycling without adequate lighting. Feeling guilty, they decided to do something about it. Their solution was a local road safety campaign called Studententlyset, which provided bicycle lights at universities. This campaign quickly grew into a national visibility initiative, resulting in the distribution of more than 50,000 lights to students.
While studying, they lived in isolation in Stockholm and, with the help of product designers, began developing BOOKMAN. As a natural extension of the work they began at university, they wanted to create their own bicycle accessory brand that focused on product design and ease of use. Their initial concept was simple: "Make a bicycle light that doesn't stop."
