In response to the demands for "The King again," he has finally been resurrected. Tighten the straps and enjoy the firm grip and ground-feeling sensation. The King MT 2 is a classic Altra model, so no changes have been made.
The outsole is made of Vibram® Litebase, which reduces weight, and Vibram® Megagrip, which provides high grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The sharp lug pattern and drainage mechanism allow you to step confidently on loose, unstable terrain and muddy surfaces.
The upper is made of breathable mesh, and the midsole is equipped with Altra EGO™ foam, which provides a solid responsive feel while maintaining a sense of connection with the ground.
Additionally, it features a built-in Stoneguard™ plate to protect the soles of your feet from rocks and trail debris, and the GaiterTrap™ system makes it easy to attach strapless gaiters. Altra's unique FootShape fit combines a wide toe box for free toe movement with a secure midfoot fit.
