The leather upper allows you to move around safely in harsh environments such as rocky terrain, where mesh uppers can be a concern. Furthermore, GORE-TEX Invisible Fit is bonded directly to the upper, achieving a natural fit like a non-waterproof shoe while maintaining waterproof properties. The no-gap construction also improves quick-drying properties.
The outsole is made with Vibram Megagrip sole, known for its excellent grip, and is highly rated by climbers.
The OLYMPUS series is classified as a "thick-soled shoe" with a 33mm stack height, but its appeal lies in its excellent stability.
