TANNUKI Andante Short：Color Kale

Andante is a musical term that describes tempo and means "moderately, slowly."
You may have also heard words like allegro and presto, which refer to a rather fast tempo, while andante means a slow, walking pace.
TANNUKI's new signature model, the Andante series, was developed as clothing for running (or even walking) at a moderately slow pace. Of all the items we've produced to date, this is the item that can be used most seamlessly between outdoor and everyday life.

These shorts are lightweight, highly stretchy, and have a relaxed feel.
It has a great shape and is a very versatile item for running, hiking, and everyday wear.

The material is a new addition to this collection, 100% polyester, with spring-like fibers (though it's not visible to the naked eye). Its greatest feature is its combination of lightness and stretch. It's incredibly light to wear, yet offers plenty of stretch for ease of movement. It's also water-repellent, making it stain-resistant and repels light rain well. Meanwhile, the texture is natural, reminiscent of cotton, making it a natural fit for both the mountains and the city.

-Design: These shorts have a slightly wide silhouette. They have a boxy design, a slightly high rise, and a comfortable length that falls just above the knee.

The large pocket on the front is the highlight of the design. It has top access so you can easily store anything you want. It also has eyelets, which will come in handy when you splash around in the summer, which is something all trail runners love.
The back has a patch pocket on the right side and a zippered pocket in the center. The zippered pocket is convenient for storing a cell phone or valuables, and is packable for increased portability.
The U-shaped logo is discreetly placed on the bottom left. The simple design makes it easy to coordinate with other items and is suitable for everyday use.

The waist is a combination of shirring and a drawcord.

These lightweight, everyday boxy shorts are perfect for trails, everyday wear, or travel.

- Material: Traditionally, in order to give a material stretch, polyurethane, whose fibers themselves have the property of stretching, has often been used. While polyurethane is an excellent material in terms of its stretchability, it is also fundamentally heavy, which is a functional weakness. On the other hand, many polyester materials are basically lightweight, but lack stretchability. The material used this time is made from polyester based on molecules with a spring-like, spiral structure, and is a material that has finally achieved both stretch and lightness.
And with this stretch, of course it stretches, but another great feature is that it returns firmly to its original shape after stretching (called kickback). It doesn't just stay stretched, it returns firmly to its original shape. It gives the impression of a perfect crease.
In addition, it also has the inherent characteristics of polyester, such as ease of handling (it can be washed at home, of course) and quick drying. What's more, by applying a post-processing process, it becomes a super functional material that also has water repellency.

Another great thing about this material is that it doesn't reveal its super functionality. Although it is a multi-functional synthetic material, it has a natural look and feels smooth and blends in with anything. It doesn't look like it has many functions.
Its natural texture is a perfect match for relaxed shorts, making it an item that can be worn comfortably both on the trail and in town.

The fabric is double-woven, meaning that the front and back have different weaves, creating an uneven surface that allows the fabric to move easily against the skin and provides a smooth, comfortable feel.
It can also be used to protect against sunburn thanks to its UV protection.
